Welcome to Wise Women - Uganda
Wise women Uganda is the idea developed by a group of concerned women in Gulu district –northern Uganda. This is women group purposively formed to initiate and implement forest landscape forest landscape restoration and promote environmental well-being, while also using traditionally therapeutic species of plants and trees to help address health burdens as well as complement efforts of formal pharmacological and medical healing interventions.

What We Do
Empowering women affected by conflict in social enterprise development for livelihood and social cohesion.
Who We Are
We rejuvenate and revive the course of identification ,conservation, planting ,storage and use of traditional medicinal plants and trees to prevent extinction of the species.
Where We Work
Our Group is a fully-fledged with functional leadership structures, and formal status as a registered entity with Gulu City Council.
Our Projects
We do BeeKeeping, Tree Planting, Medicine Making, and offer Literacy classes and VLSA, Soap Making.
